The COVID-19 pandemic forced Disney to postpone Mulan from March 27th to July 24th. Now, though, the hope is that Tenet will be released as planned on July 17th, thereby opening the door for this live-action adaptation of the animated classic to also debut in theaters.

Bear in mind that it's been made clear that there are no plans for big budget blockbusters like Mulan and Black Widow to receive Digital releases in place of a theatrical run, but what about Disney+?

Mulan will eventually end up on the streaming service like every other Disney movie, and in a Tweet from the @DisneyPlusHelp Twitter account, a possible premiere date has been revealed.

"Hi Caroline, It'll be approximately available to subscribers on October 27, 2020," the reply to an eager fan reads. "Let us know anything you'd like to see added in the future here. Thank you for your time." This is an official account, so chances are they haven't just pulled this out of thin air.

Whether things have changed since Mulan was delayed is another matter, of course, but that release window sounds about right. Unfortunately, if the movie ends up being postponed for a second time, we can probably forget about that happening as there's a good chance it will be pushed into 2021.

We'll have to wait and see, but hope to have a concrete update for you soon.
